Family Dude....the saga continues...

My first day of class was rather inconvenient. Not the class itself, but the fact that I had no car. I had to ask my dad to drop me off for my 8pm class and pick me up at 11pm. Class was great, I like the prof. We did however get let out early, so by 10:30pm, I called my dad hoping he was on his way to pick me up. To my surprise, Family Dude answers in his most reassuring of voices, "We're by the AMC, don't worry, we'll be there in less than 5 minutes!" I was surprised, I didn't expect him to accompany my dad, but I figured, maybe he wants to be dropped off at his buddy's house. I get in the back seat of the car, he greets me and asks me about class, whilst pouring something, I dunno what yet. I tell him about it and while doing so he turns to me and offers me some hot coffee. I look at it rather shocked, and I guess he sees my reaction, and in a most rescue hero sorta way he pulls out a coke from his jacket and offers it to me instead. I take it, and keep telling him about my class. At this point, I'm in a kinda shock and I keep staring at the cold pop in my hand. He adds to the conversation and asks my dad if he wants some coffe; my father declines saying that he'd rather have a beer at home. As my shock starts to dissipate, I realize that I am very cold and that hot coffee sounds rather good right now. So, I tell Family Dude that I change my mind, I do want coffee afterall. He gives me the little cup and tells me in a brotherly manner, that he made it just for me. The coffee tasted, great. Now, I am not a coffee drinker, but man, that really tasted great. Just like you imagine it tasting when you're a child and all the adults are sitting around the table drinking it.

I haven't seen much of him since then though. He's been working long hours at some Bar & Grill in the burbs. I'd want to go there and see him, my mom said that he said that I'd like their burgers. :D

I have so much to catch up on, but Family Dude rocks. I need Mrs. Santiago to do something nice like that. I gotta keep reading. I guess I should go in chronological order. Love the music selection you listen to.
