It's That Blogger Time of the Month Again!

So, I figure this is a monthly thing for me...is that so wrong? Honestly, I'd like to write more, and I would if I were more interesting.

School is going well for me. I was able to test out of a computer course, so I'm happy to say that my Fridays will not be spent being bored to death at some retard class. My other classes are good, I have a Humanities class in which the professor has instructed us to see a theatre performance. So, I figure that's a perfect excuse to go see Wicked. I mean, it's not for my own personal pleasure, no, it's part of a homework assignment. My psyche class is better. I really like my prof. He's funny and he reminds me of the character Willem Dafoe played in The Boondock Saints. But, it seems that a lot of my classmates don't quite comprehend his lectures. They ask the stupidest questions. Sometimes, I feel like stopping the class, climbing on top of my desk and explaining loudly to the class what he means. It would certainly save a lot of class time.

Driving home from school this past weekend was a bitch. I don't understand why they held the Mexican Independance Day Parade on September 11th. Why couldn't they hold it on Saturday? It just didnt' seem right to me. Ugh, and I couldn't stand people walking around with the Mexican Flag so carelessly. Dragging it on the ground, wearing it, stupid chach chicks having skimpy tank tops made out of it. Madness, where is the respect? Where is the honor? I don't call any of those actions a display of Mexican Pride. It's a mockery.

This week is my last car payment. I'm so happpy, my car will be mine all mine. I've gotten it fixed, it wasn't too much. Still though, it hurts the 'ol wallet. Imagine all the cute outfits or video games I could have bought myself with that moolah?

i wanna see wicked too but first i must go support mariposa atomica she's working on a play that means a lot to her. you should join me. it looks interesting http://www.teatrovista.org/current.html

as far as the parade goes, i got stuck on 31st and kedzie on sunday and it took me a half hour to get to tripp. i was annoyed with the pride, the desecrated flags and the insane traffic. my momma says there's more to being mexican than drapping a flag over your shoulders and i agree with her. that an i'm not hip on any type of parade.
